The Ellinwood Chamber hosts multiple community events every year, with the most well-known being the annual After Harvest Fest. Other events include the Annual Meeting and Banquet, Christkindlmarket, the Kansas Sampler, city-wide garage sales, and more.

Many businesses value and want relationship-building through networking with peers and potential clients. To deliver this access, the Ellinwood Chamber hosts a variety of meetings, mixers and special events.

The Chamber offers multiple ways to promote your business. The Chamber posts relevant business news on the website for free; shares member news through social media.
Promotional Events
The Chamber plans and hosts multiple types of informational and promotional meetings throughout the year: Chamber Coffees, Legislative Coffees, Business After Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, and more.
Government Advocacy
Government action related to such issues as taxation, education, transportation, regulation, and public safety can significantly affect the health of your business. The Chamber develops and recommends policy, tracks information on legislative issues, and builds relationships with key public officials.
Gift Certificate Program
Chamber members are encouraged to participate in the Chamber Gift Certificate program, which encourages local money to stay local and to benefit Chamber members. As a member, you can enroll in this program at no charge. The Chamber distributes the certificates, the holder spends it at participating business, and the business redeems it through the Chamber office.

According to a study by the American Chamber of Commerce, if a company is highly involved in its local chamber, consumers are 10% more likely to think that its products stack up better against competitors. Also, when consumers know that a business is a member of a chamber, they are 44% more likely to think favorably of it.
Business Referrals
The Ellinwood Chamber receives emails and inquiries asking for business recommendations from residents and visitors. Using our membership list, the Chamber recommends members for any services requested.
